Joyeux anniversaire Charlotte le Blog!

Bonjour et merci for joining me on l’anniversaire of le blog! Today marks one year since I started this blog and my first post is still one of my very favorites. My first monday meditation said it all. The magical image, the quote from Philippians, the ideas of what I wanted to share, being grateful and thinking good thoughts. Short but sweet. I have learned so much, had so much fun researching ideas and learning how to work the blog. Just going back over the posts, I’m doing all kinds of editing 😜 and learning. I’m so thankful that I was given the time to start this blog and just be inspired by it and the world around me. Joyeux anniversaire Charlotte le Blog! Here’s a look back at some of my favorite things.

⏳ Time. One post that I refer to again and again, is take the time. The quote from How to be Parisian Wherever You Are is always inspiring.

I truly learned so much with my monday meditations on the fruit of the spirit, the first one on love is very special to me. I will continue to go back and meditate on each one. And then I was called back to work 😱… joy.

🥖 I posted my first Haiku last May, I thought it was quite lovely. The post also included a great baguette recipe that I’ll have to do again soon.

🌹 The La Vie en Rose post was one of the most fun to make. I found so many cool things! Here’s another find, Wooden Spoon Herbs Rose-Colored Glasses tincture with organic Provence rose petal extract. I need some of this right now – added to the list ✔!

This moon day meditation is inspiring me all over again! So is this one on self-control 😬.

🍎 One of my favorite dream itineraries was How to have a Perfect Parisian Friday in NYC, because it wasn’t just a dream, it was a dream come true! I’m so happy to hear that Balthazar is open again!

Sister love. I was so honored to have her informative and fun guest posts on Hemp and Hippocrates and her favorite holiday Halloween. Merci ma soeur! 😘

🍴 Here’s a list of my favorite recipes, as of last November.

In my daydreams of Paris post I was inspired by Bistro Paul Bert to create the delicious Daydreams of Paris Linguine with Morel Cream Sauce and Eggs. Allons-y! The search for morels begins!

🥕 The first of many posts that mentioned mon cher Wild and the Moon was How to eat for health and beauty – the Parisian way. I noticed a recipe I linked for sister for a vegan smoked salmon – I need to try this soon ! Currently I’m channeling Carine Roitfeld for my Parisian diet inspiration. Particularly this quote: “I drink green tea all day long, and at night I drink vodka. So each night, I have my vodka.” Sounds like advice from How to be Parisian…

🌟 I am so excited that I just purchased tickets for soeur et moi to experience the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Columbus. Something from our itinerary in friday in Paris avec ma soeur, it was shown at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris. It’s on Pizza Friday, so maybe we’ll head on over to Harvest Pizzeria and create our own pizza. I’m thinking all vegan – almond pesto, cheese, fennel sausage, truffled mushroom and arugula? Maybe with a Collin Cremant de Limoux Brut? Starry, starry night it is! Speaking of pizza…

🍕 All the pizza! I think my favorite creation was the Friday Pizza Calabrese, a replication of the pizza we had at Alimento in my Paris Pizza Friday post. In fact, I just made it again a couple Fridays ago. Although it might be a tie with Perfect Parisian Pizza, that one really blew us away!

And what pizza will we be having this Friday? Special order pizza from Rubirosa via Goldbelly! Tie-Dye Pie for me, mais ouis and Pepperoni for mon mari, bien sur.
