monday meditation

Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.

Bonjour

Welcome to my first blog post! I am Charlotte and I decided to start a blog while on furlough, a.k.a. hiding out from the corona virus. I cannot believe I am going into week 5 today, time has really flown. Or has it stood still? Either way, I have been filling my days with Razzi time, fun recipes, yoga, Peloton and good books. In my posts I will be sharing daydreams of Paris. Anything and everything to do with food, and inspiration, beauty and joy that I find around me and on the web each day. Today is monday meditation.

Monday’s are for meditation

Today’s Monday meditation seems perfect for this point in time and also for the spirit of this blog. It is about being in control of what we think and reflect on. Not allowing the anxious, heavy thoughts drag us down, but being grateful for all of the little blessings each day. Puppy kisses, a bowl of cafe au lait, a good book (that takes place in Paris of course). It is about prayer and thankfulness. I’m sure you have heard this phrase before – we cannot control the circumstances but we can control how we react to them – so let’s meditate on the lovely thoughts, the good things. A friend passed along this article regarding the above verse and how to find calm in these anxious times. It was an inspiration to me and I hope it is to you too.
