Happy Pizza Friday – it’s time for a Pizza Party!

Bonjour, salut and Happy National Pizza Party Day 🎉! I know I’ve been a little light on the posts, I’ve been busy with family visits, gardening, my little, old precious princess puppy… but I had to post today. It isn’t just any Pizza Friday, May 21st is National Pizza Party Day! So let’s celebrate right with pizza, bien sûr 🍕! Sure, it will just be husband and I celebrating, but we love to find reasons to celebrate, and we love pizza. So pour some champagne, chianti, or your favorite cocktail and join me for a little pizza inspo. Happy Pizza Friday – It’s time for a Pizza Party!

Allons-y! Here are links to all my past posts and recipes revolving around pizza:

Firstly, one of my favorite pizza posts is the Paris Pizza Friday post. It pairs my favorite Paris movies with pizza recipes. It includes my recipe for Friday Pizza Calabrese. Pizza Party Movie Night!

And In the How to make a Perfect Parisian Pizza and more post I share my recipe for, you guessed it, Perfect Parisian Pizza. I paired this beauty with a Parisian Mule recipe. This pair of recipes has party written all over it! Wait a minute, you know what would put this over the top? Along with champignons de Paris, let’s add some morels while they are still in season!

By the way, I just planted an eggplant in my garden. Can’t wait to use one for Eggplant Pizzettes from The Forest Feast inspired by Le Galet in Nice… le sigh. Pizzettes definitely spell P A R T Y!

For a vie en rose inspired pizza party, try a Pizza Rosa, simple but perfect.

July 4th will be here soon, what about a Smoked Mozzarella Jalapeno Pizza? 🌶

I still haven’t tried the Roasted Mushroom Kale Pizza from Half Baked Harvest. I’ve got the kale…

Sister conjured up a Mediterranean Pumpkin Pizza for Halloween and don’t forget the Thanksgiving Skillet Pizza when it’s time to trim the tree this year, bookmark it now!

For a Pan Pizza Party, please try this Perfect Pan Pizza from a Couple of Cooks. I was amazed at how well it turned out!

Last but not least, for a Pesto Pizza Party, how about my Black and White Pesto Pizza inspired by the Palais Royal? Miam!

l’inspiration

A pizza party can be healthy too! In my post How to do Pizza Friday – the healthy way, I’ve got lots of inspiration. It also reminded me I need to use my La Tourangelle Pesto Oil! Ohhh.. a nice Margherita pizza with hot pepper slices or flakes with some pesto oil drizzled on top sounds party perfect!

I know NYC is the king of pizzas (with over 9000 pizzarias – mama mia!) But all the pizza places in Paris are where I go for inspiration! Alimento, Bonvivant (and their Spring Break Pizza), Babalou (very tempted to make their namesake pizza tonight -ricotta, mozzarella fior di latte, shavings of parmesan, artichauts, citron confit, olives noires and thyme💖), Popu and a beautiful Burrata Joli-coeur), UnoAcqua e Farina, Louie Louie, Pizza Sur Seine… Don’t forget Chez Bartolo in Saint Germain DP!

Too late now, but I should have ordered more Francine French Pizza Mix! It was really good! And pizza kits always mean a party. Look at this DeLallo Pizza Dough Kit too, all 5 star reviews! Supposedly it’s available at the Giant Eagle near me, I’ll let you know how it is 😉. My recipe for Perfect Parisian Pizza includes a recipe for the perfect pizza dough, so I’m I’ll set.

This tee would just be a riot, maybe for you ma soeur? LOOK WHAT ELSE I FOUND – one for me, one for husband – Pizza Party Boxers!

Before I forget, what’s a party without dessert? I think a dessert pizza is in order. Nothing too crazy, something a little sophisticated. Perhaps a Cheese and Honey Pizza? Or how about a Brie and Black Raspberry Jam Pizza (I just made that one up). Party on Wayne or should I say faire la fête Garth!

There’s a great scene in Wayne’s World (btw) with Pizza Hut pizza. So if you’re looking for something to watch with your pizza tonight, here’s an article from the Slice blog (a blog about pizza), Seven Oscar-worthy pizza scenes in movies.

Are you hungry yet? Have I overwhelmed you with pizza as much as I’ve overwhelmed myself? No need to add a new pizza recipe today, although you know I can’t help it, I’m sure these won’t be the last. Happy Pizza Friday – it’s time for a Pizza Party! Have a lovely weekend! À bientôt!
