10+ festive French and fun food links I love

Salut! Merry Friday and joyeux week-end! I’m a little scatterbrained with all the festivities and shopping  (mostly online). Also from waiting for my parcels to arrive from USPS – seriously, what is up with them? So today I thought I would just post some miscellaneous musings that I’ve been occupying myself with. Here are 🥁… 10+ festive French and fun food links I love!

Festive Paris Walks

All the Christmastime Paris walks – pretending I’m there. WALK IN PARIS ( RUE DU FAUBOURG SAINT HONORÉ ). Saint-Paul to Hôtel de Ville 2020 Le Marais. Paris Christmas Walk 2020 – 1st arrondissement. And last but not least, this festive walk in the 9th arrondissement of Paris | Boulevard Haussmann. 🎁

I ♥ France

Along with pretending to be in Paris I have been daydreaming about vacation homes in France by perusing through the Enjkey website. While I was there I found HÔTEL HENRIETTE – so sweet, and what a cool website. Check out this little gem, La Parare, on the Côte d’Azur. It’s a “17th century sheepfold located on the heights of Nice”. Le sigh… les rêves.

I watch Rick Steves’ European Christmas every year, it’s so sweet that I actually tear up every year too. I’m also due to watch Love Locks from the Hallmark channel. Sure it’s a little corny, but sweet too. And it takes place in Paris, some of it at Christmastime. ❄

Fun Food

How about some Fa-la-la-fel! ✨? This Cranberry & Chestnut Falafel recipe looks amazing! Christmassy chestnuts and sweet potato – I can’t wait! These cheesy cream puffs from Do It in Paris look perfect for New Year’s Eve! Definitely making this Mushroom Risotto in the new year, hopefully I can find some Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam nearby! What’s Goop making? These almost healthy Gingerbread Whoopie Pies – I think I will too! And one more Bûche de Noël recipe to add to my bucket list – it’s a Gingerbread Yule Log from Smitten Kitchen.🎄

So there you have it, 10+ festive French and fun food links I love. Just a short post for this merry Friday. I hope you found something here to amuse you! And I hope you have a fabulous, festive weekend. À bientôt! 🎅
